Presented by Adam Thickett

The Biocidal Product Families (BPF) concept is intended to reduce the workload for companies who sell a number of similar biocidal products. There have been a number of changes to exactly how these dossiers are handled by the Competent Authorities (CA) and ECHA including an update from a CA meeting in 2021 which has caused significant reassessment of previously submitted dossiers including some previously accepted dossiers being revised and broken up into smaller families. This represents a tightening of the regulations around BPFs and attending the webinar would be of benefit to anyone not currently up-to-date on these changes.

This webinar will cover

  • What is a biocidal product family?

  • What Products can be included together in a family and what variations are allowed?

  • Worked example of a sample product family and determining the formation of the dossier (core, subset, extension, Meta-SPCs)

  • Brief overview about the dossier preparation and submission process.
