Learn about UK-REACH

REACH is an ambitious chemical regulation and places a number of different obligations on manufacturers, importers and downstream users. After the UK left the European Union, the regulation was transposed into UK legislation but this needed some amendments to allow it to be workable, including special consideration for Northern Ireland. Recently, DEFRA have published a consultation on further changes to the data requirements for UK REACH, the Alternative Transitional Registration model (ATRm). This course will discuss the how UK REACH differs from EU REACH and will examine to potential impacts of the ATRm if it were to be included in the legislation in the future. This course will assume basic understanding of EU REACH and is designed to meet the needs of regulatory and compliance managers tasked with ensuring operations and exports to the UK can be made in a compliant fashion.
